The following is a picture of an ozone standpipe blow tube especially made for one of our premier customers. It is made from Duplex 2205 stainless steel and is approximately 53 foot in length. It will eventually be placed vertically in a paper mill. Miller’s seasoned professionals, Tom and Justin, two of our top welder/fabricators as well Mike who formed the steel, were able to construct just what the customer ordered.
The pulp from the ozone reactor will ultimately be fed into this blow tube/standpipe, which is the last stage in the bleaching process. From here it will be pumped to a storage vessel, hence the number of nozzles and openings noted in this vessel.
