The preparation work for pipe fitting has never been easier with the help of Miller Mechanical’s waterjet. Shown in the photos are a unique set up that traditionally would take a few hours to layout, machine and prep for pipe fitment. The hole is cut off center, and must be “clocked” to the exterior bolt pattern. There is a 0.5”x 0.375” weld prep on the top side, as well as scribe marks for centering/clocking of the pipe to be inserted through the flange. With Miller’s waterjet, all 3 of those operations are done in a single set-up, on one machine, in a fraction of the time. Save yourself some time and call Miller Mechanical or email Patrick at Patrick@millermech.com.
