Have you ever been 90% complete with a project, only to find out that one critical portion of the project is not correct? A fabrication company, over an hour away from Miller Mechanical, ran into this issue with a large excavator bucket they were repairing for their customer. This bucket edge was ordered correctly, but was delivered with the main plate too wide. Obviously a specific amount needed to be removed. Due to the material used (AR400 Plate), waterjet was their best alternative to resize the plate. Unfortunately, their regional service providers were either too expensive or unable to complete the request in a timely fashion. Pictured below is the task in process and completed. Miller was able to squeeze the project into the schedule within 24 hours, at a cost savings to our customer. A call to Miller Mechanical can save you time and hard earned money.
