Pictured here are two photos of parts of the latest fabrication of a rather large Diamondback™. This is a proprietary product that Miller Mechanical has acquired permission to build. More information is listed on their website at http://www.diamondbacktechnology.com . This particular diamondback will be placed in a pulp and paper mill and used to move woodchips from the chip bin through to the steaming vessel. This unique design allows chips to move more efficiently without moving parts and with less stress on the hopper. It is fabricated from 304L stainless steel with carbon steel stiffeners. It will stand approximately 23 feet tall when erected. Pictured is Jim is putting some finishing touches on it before the final Q.C. and shipment to a pulp and paper facility in Iowa.
