When impossible features need to be created with very difficult to machine materials, waterjet may be one of the few sources to get the items produced.  In this case we see a pre-machined blank of a tungsten blended material.  The use of simple, but effective, fixturing allows relative quick work to cut the required details, and ensures those details are located with precision.
