A regional stone crafter was up against a difficult architectural layout on a time sensitive project for a new destination hotel in Lake George. In addition to tricky layouts and time constraints, the material is notoriously difficult to fabricate, often fracturing and crumbling when tooled resulting in lost time and money. These two obstacles of time and difficult material were easily overcome by Miller Mechanical’s Waterjet Department. The customer needed to have a perfect notch cut into 3” thick quartzite slabs, a task that would be very difficult with traditional methods proved to be just another day for Miller Mechanical. Contact Patrick at patrick@millermech.com today to see how he can help with your shape cutting projects, no matter how big or small.
