"Bravos to Miller Mechanical, a Glens Falls metal-working company right here on Cooper Street, which, when informed of the city's mistake in throwing out the 1980 Olympic torch, volunteered to make the city a new one for free. That's the kind of community spirit that makes Glens Falls special. Hopefully soon, the torch will be back in its rightful spot on Warren Street for visitors to see and admire."
