The city wide spring cleaning crew sprang an emergency for our local DPW when thier wood chipper broke down. When the power transmission parts for their machine were found to be “no longer available”, Miller found a solution to mate one of the new drive units to the wood chipper. Using our water jet we were able to recreate the 1.5″ thick female mating end for a hydraulic drive unit, avoiding costly traditional machining. Providing a custom solution and quick turnaround, got our city back up and running in no time.
